This afternoon we were watching the new Katie Couric show Katie and there was a story which really touched me.
The show today was dealing with helping our parents as they aged. One of the guests was a lady named Kimberly Iverson who is a Hospice and Palliative Care registered nurse. She works with patients as they embark on their final journey through life. After working with these individuals and their families, she began asking if there was anything that they wished they could do. The wishes were simple, but seemed over whelming based upon health and the financial constraints which are often associated with such illnesses.
